Think Bad Lurhman’s Moulin Rouge meets the Great Gatsby in a world bursting with energy and excitement.
Set in a Vegas wedding chapel. We are looking for lots of characters who echo the classic film trope.
It is not Dress-Up as such. They have been plucked out of their moment, as if
they walked off the silver screen, stepped off the stage or left the
playing field into our commercial. They do not have to be exact look-a-likes but do take their character seriously.
We are going to see these people have a great time BUT this does not mean cheesy or overplayed for the sake.
GEISHA: aged 18 – 50. A Japanese Geisha. Must not be afraid
of the dark or claustrophobic as she’ll potentially be jumping out of a
3 X FRENCH COURTESANS: 18 – 35. Must
be comfortable in wearing a revealing outfit.
CLINT EASTWOOD COWBOY: 30 – 60. Gruff gunslinger, Sun drenched Tan,
stubbly and worn. Think Clint Eastwood as a Cowboy.
TAP DANCING SAILOR: Male, 18 – 35. Technicolour Era Tap Dancing Sailor –
MUST BE ABLE TO TAP DANCE – think Gene Kelly. Slim.
STUNT ASTRONAUT: Under 12 – 50. Floating Astronaut – Stunt abilities A
MUST as May be needed to perform on a wire.
STUNT ALIEN GIRL: 18 – 40. A lady to play a green skinned alien.
MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH PROSTHETICS & HAVE STUNT ABILITIES as may have to
do wire work.
RUSSELL CROWE ROMAN GLADIATOR: 25 – 45. Well built muscular Soldier turned
gladiator – think Russell Crowe as a Gladiator
VELVET GOLDMINE ROCK GOD: Male, 18 – 45. A glamrock super star.
PULP FICTION – Vince Vega, 30 – 50. Think John Travolta as Vince Vega in
PULP FICTION – Mia Wallace, 25 – 35. Think Uma Thurman as Mia Wallace in
MARYLIN MONROE: 25 – 35. Marylin Monroe look – a – like
GRUFF EYE PATCH WEARING SNAKE PLISKIN: Male, 30 –
50. Gruff Eye patch wearing Snake Pliskin.
Version of the Classic John Carpenter Character. The Gruff Mercenary in
FEMALE SUPER VILLAIN: 27 – 37 LONG, HAIRED, ATTRACTIVE super
villain – think Victor/Victoria. Must be happy to have her face heavy made
up so that one side is male & the other female.
